BOARD MEETINGS; Board meetings are open to Association Members. To speak at a Board Meeting or schedule a topic for discussion, provide a written request to the Board.

Meetings are held at the Association Cabana, starting at 5:30 PM. Meeting dates vary, the next scheduled meeting is July 28, 2004.

    SALISH VILLAGE LOCATION:
    12500 NE 132ND ST.
    Kirkland, WA 98034
    Beware! Steets and Avenues in our area have similar numbers.

    The entrance to Salish Village is on the south side of NE 132nd Street, about 300 feet East of 124th Ave. NE.

    DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
    From I405 north bound: Take exit 20B (NE 124th St). At the "Y" in the offramp take the right hand branch. Stay in the right lane, continue through the stoplight and go about 1/2 mile northward through the shopping center and past Evergreen Hospital to NE 132nd St. Turn right onto NE 132nd Street, and go about 1/3 mile east. Go through the stop light at 124th Ave. NE. The entrance will be on your right.

    From I 405 South bound: Take exit 22 (NE 160th St). At the end of the off ramp, turn left, (eastbound) onto NE 160th St. Continue about 1/2 mile to a stop light at 124th Ave. NE. Turn right, (southbound) onto 124th Ave. NE. Continue about 1/2 mile to a stoplight at NE 132nd St. Turn left, (eastbound) onto NE 132nd St. The entrance to Salish Village will be on your right.

    In our area Streets and Avenues have similar numbers and are easily confused. Streets are oriented east-west, while Avenues are oriented north-south.

    ANNUAL OWNER’S MEETING:
    Our annual meeting is normally held the second Tuesday in May. It is normally held at the Kamiakin Jr. High cafeteria in the 14100 block of 132nd Ave. NE. The Board should mail a notice to you.

    Do not confuse 132nd Ave. NE with NE 132nd St. 132nd Ave. NE is about 6 blocks east of Salish Village and runs north-south.

    PROXY REQUEST:
    It is best that you attend the Annual meeting in person. You can vote for new Board members and vote on any other issue that comes up.

    If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete a PROXY FORM so that someone else can represent your interests. You can give your proxy to anyone that will attend. PROXY FORM may be copied from PROXY FORM If you later decide to attend, your signing in will cancel the proxy.

    STEERING COMMITTEE:
    Meets in the Cabana Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM

    OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE:
    Call Roger first (425) 820-7454,
    Meets in the Cabana Monday nights at 7:00 PM
    The purpose of the Oversight Committee is to review all of the Board’s practices and persuade them to adopt good management practices.
